That also includes those with an event management or MICE emphasis, as it is called certain parts of the world. During my years as a hospitality industry professional, I hired and managed interns; as a faculty member I supervised students during their internships and oversaw internship courses; as an academic administrator I developed curriculum that incorporated internships and work experience. So, I’ve experienced every aspect of the process.
