In this episode, we’re unpacking the difference between being busy and being effective, and how to recognize when your energy is being poured into the wrong places.

  • Dark Empath Diaries: Intuition, Influence & Inner Conflict

Are you emotionally intelligent… but sometimes use that power to influence outcomes in your favor? Do you feel others' emotions deeply, yet find yourself subtly manipulating situations? You might be a dark empath—a personality type that's gaining serious attention in psychology circles.

In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on one of the most misunderstood psychological profiles: the dark empath personality. I share a raw story from my high school years, where I used my emotional insight not to help—but to control. It’s a confession, a reflection, and a lesson all in one—with a moral twist you won’t see coming.

    I’ll break down:

    • What makes a dark empath different from the Dark Triad traits—narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy
    • The fine line between emotional intelligence and emotional manipulation
    • How cognitive empathy and affective empathy play into this duality
    • Warning signs that you or someone you know may be a dark empath
    • And most importantly, how to channel this trait for good, instead of guilt

Psychologists are now exploring dark empaths as complex individuals who possess a high level of empathy—but also show tendencies for control, subtle dominance, and strategic charm. If you’ve ever felt like you can read people easily, and sometimes use that awareness to win arguments, gain attention, or avoid conflict while still being “the good person” — this episode is your mirror.

Whether you’re fascinated by personality psychology, navigating toxic relationships, or simply trying to better understand yourself, this episode gives you the tools to identify, reflect, and grow.

🎧 Press play and find out: Are you a dark empath? Or just someone trying to protect your peace in a complicated world?

  • Don't Look at Me - But Also, Please do
    May 14 2025

Do you ever feel like you're hiding in plain sight, afraid to speak up, afraid to share your truth, afraid to be fully seen for who you are?

You're not alone. In this deeply honest episode, we explore the fear of being seen — a quiet, yet powerful force that holds so many of us back from living fully, loving openly, and showing up as our true selves. This fear can be subtle or overwhelming, showing up as social anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or the need to constantly “perform” in order to feel safe or accepted.

But where does this fear come from?

We unpack the roots of this fear, including:

    • Childhood experiences of rejection, criticism, or neglect
    • Cultural and societal messages about worth, identity, and “fitting in”
    • Internalized shame and the belief that vulnerability equals weakness
    • Trauma and the protective mechanisms our nervous systems develop in response

So many of us learned at an early age that hiding parts of ourselves kept us safe. We dimmed our light, quieted our voices, and built walls around our truth. But while these protective strategies once served a purpose, they can eventually become cages that keep us small.

In this episode, we also explore the journey of coming out of hiding — gently, intentionally, and with compassion.

You don’t have to do this alone. So many people silently carry this fear, and sharing it — talking about it — is the first step toward healing. This is a space for honesty, encouragement, and gentle reminders that being seen is not about being perfect. It’s about being real.

If you’ve ever held back because you feared judgment, rejection, or simply not being enough — this conversation is for you.

Tune in for a heartfelt exploration of what it means to be seen, and how to find the courage to show up as yourself.
