This video looks at a question often asked, 'Can you lose your salvation?

After Paul and his team had preached the gospel throughout the island of Crete, he left Titus to establish churches there. The inhabitants of Crete were notorious for their bad behaviour, especially their lying. ‘To live as a Cretan’ was synonymous with being a habitual liar. Paul quoted a well-known saying from one of their own people which said, ‘Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons’ (Titus 1:12). Is there any hope for people like this? Yes! Because the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Where sin abounds, grace abounds much more.

If we cannot lose our salvation, what about Judas? He was a disciple of Jesus. He was sent by Him to teach, heal the sick and cast out demons. Is he saved now, or lost? This video looks at this question.

Thomas, Simon the Zealot, Thaddeus and James the Less are not so prominent as the other disciples. What do we know about them? And how did they each experience the grace of God in their lives?

Jesus transformed His disciples and then sent them out as apostles. But He didn't change everything about them. He didn't squash their zeal, but channeled it. He didn't eradicate their personalities, skills or even their culture. He utilized these things for the gospel and for His glory.

What could transform 'sons of thunder', eager to bring judgment and destruction on others, into apostles of love and preachers of the gospel of reconciliation? Only the grace of God. And it is that same grace by which we are sanctified and transformed.

Jesus chose 12 uneducated, common men to be his disciples. Not one of them was a scholar or rabbi . They were ordinary people, just like you and me. That’s how God has always worked, through the humble . They had their flaws, faults and failings. But they were His disciples. And He transformed them by His grace . They were each unique individuals with different backgrounds, personalities, etc. Then He sent them to lay the foundation of the Church and to take the gospel to the nations. As Jesus transformed and equipped them, so He is doing with us today.

The Church is the one thing God is building on earth. But how is He building it? This teaching will help us to understand what God is doing today and how we can be involved in it.
