Each affirmation leads to a commission: "Feed My lambs," "Tend My sheep," and "Feed My sheep," signifying Peter's renewed role in shepherding Christ’s followers. Jesus also foretells the cost of discipleship, indicating that Peter's journey will culminate in martyrdom, yet He concludes with the directive, "Follow Me." When Peter inquires about another disciple's path, Jesus responds, "What is that to you? You follow Me," emphasizing the importance of personal commitment over comparison.

This passage reminds us that, regardless of past failures, Christ's grace restores and calls us to a dedicated life of love and service. It challenges us to focus on our unique journey with Him, embracing our individual callings with faithfulness and humility.

After His resurrection, Jesus meets His disciples by the Sea of Galilee, providing a miraculous catch and sharing a simple meal. In this encounter, Jesus offers renewal, reminding us that He meets us in our failures, restores our purpose, and calls us back to Himself with grace.

In John 20:19–29, the risen Christ appears to His fearful disciples, offering them peace, purpose, and proof of His resurrection. When Thomas struggles with doubt, Jesus meets him with compassion, not condemnation. This passage reminds us that Jesus still meets us in our fear and doubt, offering peace and inviting faith.
