𝔻ℝ𝔸. 𝕊𝕌𝕊𝔸ℕ𝔸 𝕄𝕌Ñ𝕆ℤ is a leader within higher education paving the way for the rest of us. Her research focuses on, “research on issues of equity, identity, and campus climate for undocumented Latinx students, while employing perspectives such as legal violence, racist nativism, Chicana feminist epistemology to identify and deconstruct issues of power and inequities as experienced by these populations.” She started advocating & making an impact in her community long before she started her career. Joining the Glorious Gamma chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. provided a lot of those tools & experiences for her to start that journey. She talks all the things SLG, higher education, and much more. • • • Website: https://lnk.bio/ThePerez

𝔻𝕣. ℂ𝕣𝕪𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝔼. 𝔾𝕒𝕣𝕔𝕚𝕒 joins me on the second episode of the Latinx Greek Life podcast & I couldn’t be more excited about it. We talked about her upbringings in a small town in Texas, her college experiences, her pathways towards Greek Life, and the different moments in her journey that have lead her to where she is at today. She’s also a co-editor of the text, “Moving Culturally-Based Sororities and Fraternities Forward” - a text that must be read if you’re passionate about a field in student affairs. • • • Check out the video podcast via my social media platforms: Website: https://lnk.bio/ThePerez

𝔽𝕆𝕌ℕ𝔻𝕀ℕ𝔾 𝕄𝕆𝕋ℍ𝔼ℝ𝕊 Clara, Patsy, Annette, & Sandra make the launch of Season 2 of the Latinx Greek Life podcast the best experience. It’s the first time I get to host Gamma Alpha Omega & it’s the first time I have a group interview. They share amazing stories about the beginning of their organization & their experience during the establishment of the sorority. Join me in congratulating them on their 29th anniversary on January 25, 1993. • • • YouTube clips of the episode coming soon. Website: https://lnk.bio/ThePerez

𝕃𝕌𝕀𝕊𝔸ℕ𝔸 ℂ𝔸𝕊𝕋𝕀𝕃𝕃𝕆 is the first person that I talk about that shares their experience within Panhellenic. She talks about her experience coming to the United States from Venezuela & how that impacted her growing up in a small town in Florida. We also touch on her identity & how she found ways of continuing exploring that while finding a sense of belonging attending UCF. This is a unique experience that a lot of Latinx students face & I couldn’t be more excited in bringing to y’all. • • • Website: https://lnk.bio/ThePerez
