  • Composite Materials in Infrastructure
    May 13 2025

    Send us a text

Traditional infrastructure building materials like concrete and steel used to be the construction materials of choice. However, in spite of their strengths, they have some obvious downsides. Weight, life-cycle costs, and build times can all be a problem. Using Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites can help solve that.

Eric Ball and Darren Simmie from our Orenco Composites division are here to help us learn why FRP composites are an ideal material for infrastructure projects.

We talk to them about what goes into the FRP manufacturing process, why they can be the perfect material for many infrastructure projects, and share with us how composite materials have helped solve infrastructure problems for many businesses and communities.
