Overcrowding and outdated laws only deepen the crisis, leaving a negative impact on detainees' mental health and their reintegration after serving their sentence. August 4th was a mass trauma that caused anxiety and constant fear. Although four years have passed, its psychological effects can still be felt. Although four years have passed, it seems like Beirut exploded yesterday.
