  • The Epiphany of God’s Glory ~ Message 1
    Mar 1 2025

All believers are admonished to glorify God in everything we do, even the small things, and this is made clear in 1 Cor. 10:31, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” With a subject of this importance where are the messages showing us how to accomplish this? This entire series is dedicated to what glorifying God is and how it is possible for a created being to glorify their Creator.

Scripture References: Psalm 50:15, Luke 17:11-19

Salient Points: Glory or just gratitude, Who is God, Glory of the heavens, Existing in God’s glory, Why are we here, Beyond obedience, Thanksgiving verses glorifying, Impresses by God’s genius, Responding to Gods enlightenment.

  • Just Missing the Glory of God ~ Message 2
    Mar 2 2025

This considers why only one glorified God when Jesus performed the miracle of healing ten lepers. They had all been healed but only one responded by giving God glory with a loud voice. The other nine experienced miraculous healing and even heard the tenth one giving God glory but still missed it, and left with only relief and gratitude. What did he realize that caused him to respond the right way?

Scripture References: Luke 17:11-19. John 15:26l John 16:13-14

Salient Points: What does God really want, Beyond obedience, Fellowship about God or with God, Focused on ourselves or Him, Why mansions in His house, Appreciating God or just His blessings, Looking beyond God’s blessings.

  • Finding Humility in God’s Glory ~ Message 3
    Mar 4 2025

Humility is highly favored by God but He resists pride, and even actively works against it. The problem is how to achieve more humility without becoming proud of it. This message considers the automatic increase in humility to those who begin to realize the magnitude of our Creator. It sheds more light on 2 Corinthians 3:18, being changed from glory to glory. The result is a natural humbling in the presence of greatness without any reflection back to self.

Scripture References: Psalm 50:15, Luke 5:1-11

Salient Points: Grasping eternity, Needing deliverance, A calling to preach, God’s closer than we think, Gratitude verses glory, Selfish praying, Praying for God’s benefit, Humility a great asset, Unselfish humility, The greatest creation on earth, Created for a purpose, What does God really want, Awed by God, Paying God back for deliverance, Why Jesus died, Jealous believers, God’s anticipated pleasure, Gratitude isn’t enough.

  • God Is Greater Than Everything He Has Ever Done ~ Message 4
    Mar 5 2025

This message considers how elusive glorifying God is and distinguishes between service, thankfulness and giving God glory.

This Message considers why nine of the ten lepers who were healed completely missed the glory of God, even as the tenth one glorified God in their presence. They had heard him proclaim with a loud voice and likely watched him go to Jesus and fall on his knees but missed out on what Jesus was thinking when he said, “Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?” This is like when Jesus calmed the storm and then asked, “Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” (See Mark 4:36-41) When Jesus healed ten lepers and asks a question he already knows the answer, so why does he ask? So we will think about how we would answer the question just as if he were asking us.

    Scripture References: Rev. 3: 13-19, Job 5:17-18, Heb. 12:5-11, Ps 19:1-3, Ps 50:15,23, Phil 2:5-11

Salient Points: A bad taste in God’s mouth, Needing God less, Seeking God, Appreciating God, Distracted from God, The change from love into duty, What does God really want from us, Awakened to God, God’s glory on display, Deceived in the work, Nine missed the glory, Praising, Why did you God, Glorifying in song, Led astray, Work or pleasure, Purchased by God, The importance of God’s glory, Choosing to glorify, The purpose to exist, Why worry, Problems bigger than God, Praying to benefit God, Don’t stop at gratitude, It’s all about God’s greatness, It’s not about the gifts it’s about the giver.

  • Why Doesn't God Answer Our Prayers ~ Message 5
    Mar 5 2025

The message, Why Doesn’t God Answer Our Prayers?, considers the differences between answered prayers and the unanswered ones and what made the difference.

We seek God’s help repeatedly for needs like; problem relationships, financial difficulties, salvation for loved ones or healing for those seriously ill, and if God fails to act, our normal response is to pray more fervently and more often. Maybe we should try to understand God better and consider why God answers some of our prayers and not others?

    Scripture References: Psalm 50:15, 23

Salient Points Being an engaged listener, Why should God answer any prayers, Selfish prayers, Reasons or excuses, Lacking gratitude, Bragging on God, Faith or fear, Existing in God, A natural humility, What compels God, An emotional response to God, Always wanting more, Appreciating God because He answered, Changed from answer to answer, Our constant existence in God, Participators or just observers, Having a vested interest, When God benefits, God’s reason to answer.

Honoring the King of Glory ~ Message 6

  • Becoming More of a Passionate Participator ~ Message 7
    Mar 7 2025

This message is about refocusing our attention on the really important things, the eternal things, things that make a lasting difference to us, and to God.

In the gospel of Mark we are admonished to “Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength” but how to fulfill this is a problem. The cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches and the lust of other things compete for our attention continually, but God will never compete for your love. Instead He simply says, “Come unto me”.

    Scriptures: Ps. 50:15, 23, Mat. 11:28-29

Salient Points: It’s not in the money, Bragging on God, Just too busy, Participators verses observers, Levels of participation, Exhibitionists, Opposition motivation, Money motivated, Vicarious feelings, Personal connection, Financial investment, Family connection, A vested interest, A unique future, Total involvement, Passionate or lukewarm, Committed, Come unto me, A light burden, Unresolved conflicts, Stagnated or motivated, seeing God’s involvement, When God becomes more important, Where are your affections, A what if.
