  • #81 | Why Faith Is The Only Thing You Need to Overcome Anxiety - My Testimony

    I know it sounds crazy and unrealistic, but faith is really all you need to overcome anxiety.

    I’ve suffered from anxiety most of my life—panic attacks, postpartum anxiety, Googling every symptom, hiding in closets just to breathe. I did all the techniques the world told me to do, but the anxiety always came back.

    While googling anxiety medications, I broke down crying and told God that I know this is not what He meant for me. In that moment,I partnered with Him, left the Googles, the medications, and the temporary symptom relief behind, and decided to walk by faith. Not even 4 months went by before the panic attacks ended, the anxious dizziness left, and I found lasting peace!

    Here I am, 2 full years later, living anxiety free and actually joyful again. Even in the midst of a crazy world, political disarray, wars, (and in this episode specifically, a head cold) I HAVE PEACE. Because truly—faith is all you need to overcome anxiety.
