Resilience can determine whether we get up and get going or whether we avoid any effort to move in a forward direction. Most of you know that my power word, RESOLVE, is about having a definite, firm plan of action. It's a choice. The letter "R" in RESOLVE is the behavior of a resilient mindset. There are only two choices. Either we get up and get going, or we stay down and avoid any further attempts to live forward. I apologize for oversimplification, but it's actually that simple. Today, we revisit the personal best practice of resilience.

When things happen and you can't see any hope, there are two things that I know for certain. One, you are not alone. It happens to everyone, so don't be ashamed. Two, it's not beneath you to ask for help. Don't let misplaced pride keep you from finding the answers you need. We all need help from time to time.

Last week was a milestone in my podcasting journey. I produced my 50th episode of "RESOLVE to Live Forward", and at the same time, my 100th podcast download took place.
