Asala Sikou is doing her job when she stops an attack on a visiting dignitary. But even though she stopped the attack, something still doesn't sit right with her. It was too easy, the attack too poorly planned. Still, the general she saved wants her added to the security detail for the remainder of the general's stay. Then there's a second attack, one that got further but still seemed designed to fail. Asala's gut is telling her there's more to these attacks than there appears, but will she be able to figure it out, or will the next attack, wherever it comes from, actually succeed?

In this first episode of this story, the action begins almost immediately, and it doesn't let up. Despite that, there is still attention paid to Asala's background, which adds an interesting layer to what's happening, and I am looking forward to learning more about Asala in future episodes. She sounds like a badass woman, one who has faced a great deal of bigotry just based on where she's from, and I am definitely looking forward to listening to more episodes.
