In the aftermath of Franklin's Lost Expedition, further glory in arctic and antarctic exploration lay at the poles. Ends of the Earth explores the increasingly vain efforts taken by those hoping to conquer the earth's poles. This multi-part series follows those who faced unbearable weather conditions, violent seas, and the least hospitable lands imaginable.
