ABOUT STACI MARTINEZ:

Staci Martinez is a passionate resident of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where she leads a fulfilling and diverse life. With three daughters and a loving husband, Staci is dedicated to nurturing her family while pursuing her entrepreneurial ventures.
Staci is proud to be a part-time fitness coach, sharing her knowledge and motivation to help others achieve their fitness goals. In addition to her fitness coaching, Staci also runs two businesses. Alongside her husband, she owns a wood flooring business where they work together and provide exceptional craftsmanship. Staci's expertise extends beyond wood flooring as she has also embarked on her own small business welding, creating beautiful metal art pieces and occasionally crafting custom furniture for a local home builder.

While chasing her dream of becoming a full-time metal sculptor, Staci remains committed to giving back to her community. As the Secretary of The Hooded Heroes Foundation, she dedicates her time to offering support and assistance to struggling welding students by helping them obtain the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) for their education. She finds tremendous satisfaction in this role, knowing that she is making a difference in the lives of aspiring welders.

Staci's love for welding goes beyond her personal pursuits. She actively participates in local high school weld competitions as a judge, eager to share her experiences and inspire the younger generation. Speaking with students about her craft brings her great joy and fulfillment.

ABOUT JENNY CROZIER:

Jenny Crozier is a woman of many hats. She is a wife, a mom, a builder, an influencer, a safety compliance manager, a tradeswoman, a writer, and a true Jill of all trades. She is from Mount Pleasant, Utah, Jenny is a proud co-owner of Crozier Construction Services LLC where she does general contracting with her husband on residential new construction, additions and remodels. She works as a safety compliance manager for Delta Valley Trucking, ensuring that the construction projects are safe for everyone involved.

She is a member of the Utah Valley Home Builders Association, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Utah PWB, Utah WBC, Empowering Women In Industry, and is an ambassador The Crew Collaborative.

Jenny received the 2022 Outstanding Women’s Award with the Women’s Builders Council, the Hamlet Homes Female Builder Grant, Star Trucker of the Quarter, and has been nominated for several other awards throughout her career including Trades Woman of the 2023 year with Empowering Women in Industry.

Jenny comes from a long line of hard-working blue-collar generations, and her love for the trades is deeply rooted in her family history. She's a fierce advocate for women in the trades, and she uses her platform to showcase the awesomeness of trade careers to future generations.

In addition to the  the construction and trucking industries, Jenny is an accomplished author, ambassador, and empowered woman who's passionate about empowering the next generation to find careers in the trades through fun tools and products. She's a gal in the construction and trucking world, building doors and breaking barriers in male-dominated industries.

Jenny recently published the children’s book: Jenny a Jill of all Trades, I am a Welder. The first in a series highlighting job opportunities in skilled trades. She believes in shining a positive light and excitement on hard-working blue-collar opportunities.

In her spare time, Jenny loves to work with fun tools and products, create woodworking projects, and share her knowledge with others through writing and speaking engagements. She's a true Renaissance woman who's not afraid to get her hands dirty and make things happen. ABOUT COLEEN BRENNAN:

Colleen Brennan is a builder living and working out in Malibu, California. Originally from Chicago, where she started and owned an all female construction company Bad Bitch Builders, employing over 30 women. For 13 years she has been remodeling, and building homes. Currently in California she works on a crew of 20 men for Phelps Design Company. She has built/remodeled over six homes in two years with Phelps design. Many homes and clients will hire Colleen separately for her knowledge and abilities “hardening homes” a newer field which involves taking properties at risk of burning in California fires, making the changes necessary to eliminate dangers around and on property prone to fire.

Colleen has also been involved part time with So Cal Fire Supply installing mass scale fire suppression systems on large properties. This company has successfully saved thousands of acres during one of the largest brush fires in southern California history the Woolsey fire. These automatic suppression systems change the game when it comes to fighting fire out in California, they have the proof to back it up.

Out of all the trades that Colleen has become skilled in, Tig, Mig Welding, Carpentry rough and finish, as well as roofing and demolition are her favorites. She has become skilled in concrete, masonry, framing, iron working, installing doors and windows, insulation, drywall, tiling, electrical, landscaping, trenching, siding, etc... She loves it all.

She hopes to start a trades school out here as well as continue to grow her company out here in southern California hiring more women in construction.

ABOUT CHAR MILLER-KING:

Char Miller-King is a passionate woodshop teacher, who has found her calling in the world of woodworking and craftsmanship. Her love for woodwork began during her undergrad when she needed a bed. Char turned a simple bed platform into an exquisite piece of furniture, with intricate details and expensive vibes. It was the best feeling in the world to know that she built something with her own hands, which she could enjoy every night. She slept on that bed for the next five years. 

Char grew up in sunny California, where she would spend her days running on the sandy beaches and enjoying the laidback lifestyle. However, she eventually left and landed in Georgia. During college, she met an intelligent and sophisticated man, whom she decided to create a happily ever after with. They have since spawned four adorable children, with the youngest of the brood being twins. With her experiences as a woodworker and maker, Char brings a wealth of knowledge to her students. She has a keen eye for detail and enjoys teaching others how to develop their skills, so they too can create beautiful and functional pieces of furniture. When she's not working, Char can be found enjoying time with her family.
