  • A Penultimate Pounding
    May 26 2025
This week on the pod, the boys investigate a murder - a absolute bloodbath on the mean streets of Hamilton, as the Chiefs mercilessly bash Moana Pasifika and leave them for dead in the alley behind Lone Star. The boys chat about the big injuries to the Hurricanes as they prepare for finals time, as well as what they’d do in a testicular emergency. Sevu finally gets the most talked about record in Super Rugby history, with an ugly (almost disallowed) try. And the Aussies bring back the biff, with a barnstormer of a match in Perth between the Force and the Tahs, including a nailbiting Super Point finale.

  • Battle of the Bridge
    May 19 2025

Super-Captain Ardie Savea leads his Moana men into an impressive victory over yet another NZ side, as they eye another scalp next week in Hamilton.

The Brumbies take everyone by surprise and take the top spot for the first time this season. Gareth narrowly avoids public humiliation, thanks to his beloved Hurricanes getting the job done in the 82nd minute, against the Highlanders.

Once again Sevu Reece celebrates not quite getting the most tries in Super Rugby, as under strength Crusaders still put on a fierce display against the Tahs.

And the Churchill effect was in full-force in Fiji, as the Drua put a disappointing end to the Perth boy's season.

  • Top Gun
    May 12 2025
This week on the pod, the men from the Waikato show their true metal, as they deal to the Crusaders away from home in a crucial championship clash. The Blues refuse to succumb to the Fiji hoodoo and wallop a pretty woeful Drua to keep their season well and truly alive. The super rugby State of Origin doesn’t disappoint, as the Reds assert their dominance over the Tahs in a Sydney thriller. And the Brumbies claim #2 on the table and firmly cement that they are the Aussie team to beat in 2025.

  • An Absolute Caning
    May 4 2025
On this week’s show, Gareth can’t stop smiling and Ra can’t stop crying, as the in-form Hurricanes finally get their revenge for last year’s semi final. The Blues put the Force to sword at the Garden of Eden, with some superb kicking skills from Angus Ta’avao. The Drua keep their home advantage well in tact, as the Reds get caught out in holiday mode in Fiji. The Brumbies cement their place as the top Aussie team, with a pasting of the Tahs in Canberra, and the hapless Highlanders lose yet another battle to an ever improving Moana Pasifika.

  • Lest We Forget
    Apr 28 2025
The table-topping Chiefs pull off a scintillating performance without their major general, DMac. It turns out that Red is definitely better than Blue in a lacklustre showing from the reining champions. The Savea brothers pull on the same uniform and do battle together for the first time since they shipped out from Wellington, the sickeningly slick Crusaders outclass the hapless Highlanders in Dunedin, and the Brumbies have an unwanted visit to the proctologist as Billy and the Hurricanes muster up a season changing victory.

  • The Resurrection
    Apr 21 2025
This special Easter round saw this season’s first draw between the Force and the Canes, after an anticlimactic ‘super point’, the Chiefs came back from the deep shame of last week and asserted their typical second half dominance to spank the men from the deep south, the Drua invoked ‘Sega na leqa’ and once again took victory at their hallowed Churchill Park, and the Blues failed at the death to get past a fired up and very mouthy and disgustingly clinical Crusaders forward pack.

  • Full Moon Party
    Apr 14 2025
This week’s full moon sees Super Rugby get a little off kilter as the lads both suffer disappointing losses. An off night for D-Mac sees a major blowout in Sydney for the top-of-the-table Chiefs, a struggle for the Hurricanes in windy Wellington against a 13-man Crusaders outfit, several more bins destroyed in the second win on the trot for the reigning champions, and a Highlanders win that’s about as rare as hen’s teeth. Oh, and the Brumbies beat the Reds…

  • A Real Mixed Bag
    Apr 7 2025
This week the boys discuss yet another scintillating second half performance from Moana Pasifika as they time their run into playoff contention. The Chiefs have snatched back their claim to the top of the table, the Hurricanes gift the Blues their second win of the season, and the Crusaders pull a swifty and try to impersonate the Fijian rugby team.
