Acerca de esta escucha

In Tales of Albion we will open the tomes of the ancients, the annals of the heroes, the lore of the monsters, to tell a new history of Britain - a history with all the dragons, witches, ghosts, monsters, giants and legendary heroes left in. We will not tell you what to believe, but we will ask you to grant us one thing: suspend the skepticism for a time, and allow yourself to, if only for a moment, really ask the question: what if?

  • The First Queen of Albion: Albina
    Apr 16 2025

Long before Rome rose and empires clashed, a darker legend took root in the misty isles of Britain…

Banished from their homeland for defying their fates, Albina and her thirty sisters—princesses of unmatched beauty and ambition—set sail into exile. But when their ship crashes upon the wild, untamed shores of ancient Britain, they carve a kingdom of their own in the shadows of myth. Vowing never to bow to man or king, they become rulers, warriors, and the mothers of monsters.

The Story of Albina and Her Sisters is a haunting blend of myth and proto-history, where rebellion births a dark legacy and the first whispers of Britain’s name are carried on the wind.

Some stories build nations. Others curse them.

  • The Albion Charter (Preface)
    Sep 3 2024

In this preface to The Tales of Albion, that we’re calling ‘The Albion Charter’, we want to introduce you to a new kind of British historiography; a new way of doing British History. It is history with all the weird bits left in. It is historiography that includes, accounts for and accepts, myths, legends, folklore and fables as part of the historical narrative. This is a British history with all the dragons, witches, ghosts, monsters, giants and legendary heroes gathered in. We do some sifting work, rejecting some stories as purely ridiculous, or constructions entirely of human design. We are calling this ‘Albionic History’.

This is the world of the Tales of Albion. We are not asking you to accept it as truth or as fact. Nor are we even claiming that all of this is truth. Instead, we are asking the question ‘What if?’ Adding all the myths, legends, stories and folklore into a pre-established medieval understanding of history. So, as you enter into Albion, and its history, quiet your disbelief for a while, suspend the skepticism for a time, and allow yourself to, if only for a moment, really ask the question: what if?

  • Tales of Albion (Trailer)
    Aug 13 2024

In Tales of Albion we will open the tomes of the ancients, the annals of the heroes, the lore of the monsters, to understand who we are and where we’ve come from.

These stories will be grounded in historical realism, with fact a foundation, but conclusion left to the listener. We will not tell you what to believe, but we will ask you to grant us one thing: suspend the skepticism for a time, and allow yourself to, if only for a moment, really ask the question: what if?
