  • Why Are Christians Persecuted in Muslim Countries? It’s Not Just About Islam
    Jun 25 2025

In this episode, I talk about the pervasive and often under-reported issue of Christian persecution. As an ex-Muslim turned Christian, this topic is deeply personal to me. I explore the spiritual, political, and cultural forces that fuel hostility against Christians today. I begin by sharing the tragic story of a bombing at a Greek Orthodox church in Damascus, Syria—a heartbreaking example of the ongoing violence believers face in the Middle East. Throughout the episode, I provide both historical context and current realities of persecution, highlighting the challenges Christians encounter in both the East and the West. I also talk about the biblical expectation of persecution, the drastic decline of Christian communities in conflict zones, and the role of global politics in shaping these outcomes. My goal is to call the global church to respond with compassion and clarity—through prayer, education, and tangible support. At the same time, I advocate for a balanced view that separates the actions of extremists from the broader Muslim population. I close by encouraging you to live out your faith with boldness and compassion, even when it’s costly.

  • Are You Afraid of Islam? Why What You Think You Know Might Be Wrong
    Jun 13 2025

In this episode of the Royal Remnant Podcast, I dive into some of the most common misconceptions about Islam and Muslims. As someone who grew up Muslim and later became an evangelical Christian, I’ve seen both worlds—and I want to help bridge the gap. I talk about the diversity within Islam, its rich history, various sects, and core beliefs like the five pillars and the concept of jihad.

I also challenge many of the Western assumptions shaped by media narratives, which often paint an incomplete—or even misleading—picture of Muslims. My heart behind this episode is to encourage fellow Christians to engage with Muslims, not with fear or judgment, but with love, curiosity, and respect.

We also tackle tough topics like the myth that Islam inherently promotes violence, that jihad always means “holy war,” or that Muslims automatically hate Western values. My hope is to offer a more nuanced, honest, and compassionate perspective that can help us build real understanding across cultures and beliefs.

  • Why Jesus's Divinity Triggers Many Muslims: The Theological Clash
    Jun 13 2025

In this episode of the Royal Remnant Podcast, I discuss the deep theological differences between Christianity and Islam, especially why the idea of Jesus being divine often sparks strong reactions from Muslims.

As someone who grew up Muslim and later became an evangelical Christian, I’ve wrestled with these questions myself. I break down the core beliefs each faith holds about the nature of God and explain key historical moments like the Council of Nicaea, which helped shape Christian doctrine as we know it today.

I explore how Christians and Muslims view Jesus in fundamentally different ways, and why these doctrinal differences really matter when we’re talking about faith. I also talk about the importance of respectful, honest conversations and encourage anyone exploring Christianity to do so with a sincere and open heart, seeking truth above all.

  • Why Muslims Reject Christianity: Cultural and Historical Perspectives
    Jun 13 2025

In this episode of the Royal Remnant Podcast, I explore the cultural, historical, and political factors that can make the Christian gospel message difficult or even triggering for many Muslims. As someone who once lived on the other side of that conversation, I know it’s about more than just theology.

I get into the deeper clash between Western individualism and Eastern collectivism, and how our differing views on freedom, morality, modesty, and the role of women often shape how the Gospel is received. I also talk about the historical wounds left by events like the Crusades and colonialism, as well as the ongoing impact of U.S. foreign policy and how Muslims are portrayed in the media.

Through it all, I emphasize the need to approach these conversations with love, humility, and truth. Muslim identity carries both pain and pride, and we need to be patient and compassionate when sharing Christ. I wrap up the episode with some practical advice for Christians who want to engage their Muslim neighbors in a way that’s both respectful and effective.
