Our first ever guest, Andrew Clements, is dropping by with a film for us to watch - the all-puppet action-adventure spy spoof, Agent Crush (2008). How was Agent Crush influenced by the work of Gerry Anderson? Why did it take over a decade for the film to be released? And is it any good?

The Gerry Anderson universe is littered with characters who arrive full of promise and then disappear after a few episodes. Jack and Ben are going to shed some light on the forgotten Anderson characters. Then, later in the show, we'll be exploring everything that might have been if the final Supermarionation series, The Secret Service, had continued past its ill-fated short run of 13 episodes.

Is there any crossover between classic cinema and the action adventure of Supermarionation? Jack and Ben take a trip to the jungle for a look back on "The Wages of Fear", a 1953 action film remade in Supermarionation as "Colonel McClaine" in Joe 90, and also homaged in the Supercar episode "Keep It Cool."

The clash of two Spectrum titans! It's the battle of the SPV from the 1967 Supermarionation series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and the Rhino from the 2005 CGI remake Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet. To help settle the argument, Jack and Ben are pitting two Scarlet episodes from the different eras against each other: "Special Assignment" versus "Trap For A Rhino"!

Our introductory episode kicks off in spectacular fashion with a review of the Thunderbirds adventure that started it all - Trapped In The Sky! But can Ben and Jack dodge all the clichés that come up when fans discuss this classic, iconic, action-packed episode?... Probably not.
