 "The Sixth Sense" is a supernatural thriller that follows the story of a young boy named Cole Sear who has the ability to interact with spirits. Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a troubled child psychologist, takes on Cole as a patient, just months after being shot by a former patient who suffered similar issues in his past. Malcolm struggles to help Cole but eventually realizes the truth about Cole's "sixth sense". The two work together to help the troubled spirits Cole encounters find peace. The film ends with a shocking plot twist, revealing that Malcolm himself has been a ghost throughout the narrative, killed by the gunshot wound in the opening scene, and that Cole was helping him to understand and accept his death. This film is both chilling and poignant in its exploration of the supernatural, life, and death.
