    Last week Rian Bailey was joined on the show by Paul Connolly. Next month Paul will run from his late mother's homeplace of Quin in Co Clare to her final resting place of Achonry Co Sligo to raise money for the North West Hospice. Paul's mother Bridget sadly lost her battle to a rare form of brain cancer in July of 2015 and to mark her tenth anniversary, Paul will take on this massive challenge.

    Recently on the Tommy Marren show a listener got in touch to say that she had brought their child to mass. The child began to cry during the sermon. The mother was approached by a nun after the mass who claimed that the mother should have removed the child as not to disturb other attending mass.     Ballinrobe's Andy Walsh is the face of MS Ireland’s campaign for World MS Day. World MS Day will take place on May 30th. The theme for the campaign is 'Diagnosis' and is aiming to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis and it hoping to provide a platform for those who have been affected by MS to share their stories of diagnosis.
