Welcome to Good Stuff, where it´s all Good Stuff when you really think about it. I am your host Kayla Solinsky. Welcome to a SPECIAL EPISODE OF GOOD STUFF where we celebrate THEATER SEASON. Many local high schools have produced amazing plays and musicals for our community to enjoy. Today, we will speak with Mrs. Caitlin Widner, drama teacher and English teacher at South Carroll High School. Mrs. Widner is the theater director for the South Carroll Stagelighters, a group of South Carroll students who perform, create the set pieces for, and put together an amazing production every year. This year, the South Carroll Stagelighters are performing the Unsinkable Molly Brown, a production based on the life of Margaret Brown, a wealthy philanthropist and politician, who is more commonly known for surviving the Titanic disaster. We will learn about Mrs. Widner, her inspiration for choosing to direct the Unsinkable Molly Brown, and how the South Carroll Stagelighters come together to produce this amazing performance. Our community highlight today is the OPENING PERFORMANCE of The Unsinkable Molly Brown this opening Friday night, tonight, at 7pm. Performances will be happening tomorrow, Saturday at 2pm and 7pm, as well as next Friday and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm. Buy tickets online at scsl.booktix.comAnd now, let´s hear about some Good Stuff happening in our community.
