  • 10 | Poverty to Purpose: Suzanne’s Journey of Resilience and Renewal
    Jul 7 2025

Suzanne is a resilient woman whose life journey has been shaped by poverty, perseverance, and quiet strength. Raised on a farm in a small rural community, Suzanne grew up surrounded by animals and homegrown food—but also by the unspoken weight of generational struggle, shame, and scarcity. Her early life was marked by survival, not abundance, and by a deep longing for belonging and worth.

Despite being the “good daughter” who followed the rules, attended Bible school, and married a pastor, Suzanne found herself in a long and difficult marriage that echoed many of the emotional and financial challenges of her upbringing. Through years of verbal and emotional abuse, financial hardship, and silenced faith, she eventually made the courageous decision to leave—for the sake of her daughter, and for herself.

Since then, Suzanne has rebuilt her life with purpose and intention. From working at Starbucks and returning to school to become an Educational Assistant, to now helping other families understand and manage their money, Suzanne has doubled her income and found her voice. Her story is one of deep transformation, healing, and rediscovered faith.

Today, she stands as a testament to what is possible when we choose to leave survival behind and step into healing. Suzanne’s journey will move you, challenge you, and remind you that even from the hardest places, it is possible to rise.

  • 8 | Broken Pointe: The Story of a Ballerina’s Undoing and Becoming
    May 19 2025

Nicole Celeste is a multidisciplinary artist, speaker, and advocate whose life story is a raw, unfiltered portrait of identity lost and reclaimed. Raised in a loving home yet plagued by bullying and self-doubt, Nicole grew up deeply sensitive to the world around her—an intensity that shaped her inner life from the start.

At 13, she found ballet. For a time, it was sanctuary and purpose, but the perfectionism and punishing demands of elite dance took their toll. By 18, Nicole walked away from the stage and into an identity crisis. What followed was a years-long spiral through addiction, fueled by pain, disconnection, and a search for self she couldn’t yet name.

Art was the thread that never snapped. Even in her darkest moments—through drug use, relapse, and the loss of her best friend to overdose—Nicole stayed tethered to creativity. It was her way of surviving, and eventually, healing.

Recovery wasn’t linear. Her father’s intervention, early access to Vancouver’s safe injection sites, and a growing spiritual awareness all played a role in pulling her back. But it was her own relentless self-inquiry—her refusal to abandon the search for meaning—that led her to something deeper.

Today, Nicole speaks on addiction, identity, and spiritual awakening—not through the lens of doctrine, but through lived experience. Her message is clear: until we know ourselves, we can’t trust ourselves—and without trust, we can’t fully live. Nicole’s work is a call to wake up, reconnect, and remember who we really are

    Apr 7 2025

Addicted. Homeless. Healer. The Unlikely Journey of Taylor’s Comeback

Some stories break your heart before they heal it. Today’s guest is one of those stories.

Taylor is a mother of three, a survivor of addiction, and a living, breathing reminder that rock bottom is not the end — it’s often the beginning.

For years, Taylor’s life was a cycle of sobriety and relapse — a tug-of-war between her love for her children and the grip of addiction. She’s faced homelessness, slept in cars, and did whatever she had to do to survive. But addiction doesn’t care about survival — it pulls you deeper until something — or someone — pulls you out.

For Taylor, that ‘something’ was a yoga studio. A place she walked into broken, but left with tools that would completely change her life. Today, she’s a trauma informed yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, helping other addicts find peace, healing, and hope through practices that once found her at her lowest.”

This is a story of relapse and redemption. Of motherhood and mistakes. Of pain and purpose. And ultimately — of healing.
