  • Born On The 4th Of July With Tom Arnold
    Jul 3 2025

The Two Broads dear friend, Tom Arnold, joined us for a beautiful conversation about freedom, parenting, grand parenting, curiosity, life skills, generation bridging, individual liberty, ideas, boomers, pursuit of happiness, homesteading, simple life and friendship which shines throughout the entire episode. Tom is a ninth generation Tennessean, a true humanitarian, a life long learner and teacher. Tom was involved in politics since he gave out Barry Goldwater pencils from the seat of his bicycle and was influential in Tennessee as a political go to. Always about people and personal liberty first, Tom is the quintessential southern gentleman who has been a beacon of light for so many in a time of turmoil. If you listen closely all prescriptions for a good life are in this episode. Sarah starts the episode with her newest farm life tale which left her feeling empowered. No tech problems in this cast but there may or may not be animal sounds that make appearances. This cast is like a glass of iced tea on a shady porch from a rocking chair after being dehydrated in a desert.

  • Further Discussion On Public Education With Lynne Taylor
    Jun 26 2025

We invited the Common Core Diva, Lynne Taylor, back on for another episode as we could never exhaust all of the information she has on public education. Lynne is a wonderful researcher of original source documents. What she brings is from what those who release this stuff upon the rest of us from their blueprints of diabolical abuses that they write as both experiments and laws. Don't worry though, it is all in the name of progress, safety, inclusion, health and fairness of course. Lynne reads long word salad documents and shares what she finds; a task very few do. Of course there is no way to enter into a discussion on the mind control that public education is without venturing into so many other topic trails. After all, public education is our privileged right of passage into molding the future. The problem is, who's future? I should probably put a warning on this episode but I won't. We are all adults here, right?

There is a donate button on her website where those who realize the effort and time of what she does can contribute. She is on no payroll.

  • A Rant On Journalism; Journalism?
    Jun 19 2025

It is not new that news media/journalism has been in the great race to the bottom for quite some time now but Sarah recently maxed out on the levels it is at and needed to vent. I mean, don't we all know at this point that big news affiliates are corporate owned and create within their brood controlled opposition so that between the fans of news red pill and news blue pill they get all the advertising dollars and get to control narratives. Cool. Some journalists have left that propaganda pump fest for smaller owned media outlets but it seems they start to veer for the shallow end of the pool and much of journalism now seems cult of personality; like most everything else. Well, we vent some feelings about this topic and more AND have laughs doing it. Warning though; Sarah names names.

  • AI, Artists & Humanity With Jill Turpin
    Jun 5 2025

Jill Turpin joined the Two Broads for a great discussion on AI. Jill is a multifaceted artist as well as the brain child and director of an arts council and community center. We discussed the new frontier of art in the rapidly advancing AI era. How do artists respond? Will real art without AI be appreciated? Do people value art anymore since images are thrown at us daily like sand on a beach. More important, do we value what it is to be human anymore? Are we ripe for AI taking over all aspects of our lives? Are people ready? How does one ready? Are some in denial about it? All this and more in a deep conversation leading to some legit questions we should all be asking ourselves in these times we find ourselves in.
