In this podcast, Elders Randall & DeBorrah K. Ogans share biblically based insight, guidance, and advice on Life & Living, Marriage & Relationships, Family & Parenting, Faith & Belief, Church & Religion, Spiritual Health, and more.

Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.

Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".

To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.

This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.

Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

If you haven't already, make a commitment today, to start Walking In the Light.

  • What Is Sin ?
    Jul 9 2025

What is Sin ? Is it a list of rules you're not supposed to break? I can recall years ago that certain denominations considered the following to be sin:

    • Going to the movies.
    • Dancing
    • Women wearing make-up or pants. Always had to wear long dresses. I remember years ago, Elder DeBorrah was a guest speaker at a women's event at a local church in one of these denominations, when she addressed this subject.

I'll never forget how you could hear a pin drop when she stated, "Even a barn door knows when it needs paint".

Sin is an offense or immoral act, a transgression against divine law, and anything that contradicts God's desires for humanity. Ultimately, anything that separates us from God is considered sin.

Humanity inherited a "proclivity towards sin" from Adam and Eve's fall. Their "original sin" was disobeying God by eating from the forbidden tree. Their sin was not eating the fruit, but "disobedience" to God's word. They decided to do what God told them not to do. As a result, humanity became separated from God.

But God provided a way back, by sending his son Jesus Christ, to save us from the power of sin reigning in our lives. Jesus Christ came to restore humanity's connection to God. His sinless life, death, and resurrection redeemed believers.

Listen as we take this deep dive to answer the question, "What Is Sin?".

  • The Supremacy Of The Lord - Psalm 8
    Jul 2 2025

In this episode we explore the majesty and power of God, as described in Psalm 8. This Psalm depicts God's supremacy and love for humanity. It emphasizes God's immense greatness and power as the Creator of the universe, and concurrently, His profound value and care for humanity, His most cherished creation.

Believing in God as the Creator can be "a challenging subject for some," as their minds find it "difficult to conceive this to be true." This difficulty is because they have not discovered the pathway to FAITH.

Individuals can understand and connect with God through "FAITH" and belief in Him and His Word, Jesus Christ.

If you have ever wondered about the Supremacy of the LORD camp right here, and let us share with you the greatness of God.

  • Correcting The Diotrephes Spirit - III John
    Jun 25 2025

In this episode, we focus on the New Testament book of III John. It contrasts effective spiritual leadership with an immature and self-serving leader who sought preeminence, was unwelcoming to visiting teachers, and lacked genuine hospitality, ultimately hindering true fellowship.

These actions are detrimental because they disrupt true fellowship, create chaos and conflict, hinder the spread of the Gospel, and place personal power and insecurity above Christ's headship of the Church.

Correction, though often misconstrued as "criticizing" in this day and time, is an essential component of God's true love, and is necessary to address sin and steer believers back onto the right path. We can see this is what many of the prophets of old did, and it's still necessary today. However, know that many leaders don't want to be corrected, particularly those who want the preeminence. But we have direction from the Lord to do just that, using scripture. 2 Timothy 3:16 states, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness,

True ministry prioritizes God's will over personal agendas. It's important to correct sin and maintain Christian principles for the health of the Church.

God doesn't play favorites based on a rank or position. The Church belongs to Christ, and faithfulness and obedience to God leads to a victorious life.

In many places of worship today, the Diotrephes spirit is prevalent, with leaders wanting to be the main attraction, rather than God.

Listen as we encourage you in this episode to keep your focus locked on the Lord.
