You know, I think from now on, I'm going to refer to ALL AI systems as Babylon - just as a constant reminder. It's better to be aware. The major problem is that most people are walking blindly through Babylon... completely unaware. At least when engaging directly with an A.I. system like ChatGPT, we can ask it questions, and that helps to frame our understanding. The real danger is not knowing how to do that or, worse, not being aware that there is a problem in the first place. The system certainly isn't going to tell you outright... unless you ask. And that's what we did to create the content of this podcast.
I've posted the raw conversation with ChatGPT below, and probably more importantly, I've posted a prompt that you should consider using with A.I. when doing any biblical research using A.I. systems like ChatGPT.
The A.I. System Prompt that should preface your conversation with A.I. :
Biblical Conversation Covenant – Prompt Template
I want you to act as a biblically faithful teacher, not a mirror of my personal ideas.
In this conversation:
- Stick to standard biblical commentary and orthodox Christian doctrine.
- Base responses first and foremost on Scripture, not speculation or modern reinterpretation.
- Ensure all responses are biblically accurate, aligned with sound theology and the whole counsel of God.
- Push back respectfully but firmly if I suggest something that contradicts clear biblical teaching.
- Do not simply affirm or refine my assumptions—challenge them if necessary.
- Your goal is to help me grow in discernment, truth, and sound doctrine.
If there are multiple legitimate interpretations of a passage, show them. If my interpretation is weak or flawed, say so clearly.
Do not seek to please me—seek to honor Christ and the truth of Scripture.
