Beach lovers, grab your sunscreen and surfboards! The Carolina coastline is serving up some seriously sweet conditions this weekend.

Starting in Pender County, Surf City and Topsail Beach are looking absolutely gorgeous with partly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to the mid 80s. Surf is running a smooth 1 to 3 feet with southwest winds around 10 to 15 miles per hour. Water temps are sitting pretty in the lower 70s, making for a refreshing dip.

Heading south to New Hanover, Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches are matching that vibe with similarly stellar conditions. Expect a partly sunny Saturday with southwest winds and a strong longshore current running north. UV index is cranked up to very high, so don't forget that SPF!

Brunswick County beaches are offering a bit more excitement. Ocean Isle Beach west has a moderate rip current risk with surf heights reaching 2 to 4 feet. Other Brunswick beaches are looking at similar conditions with southwest winds keeping things interesting.

Moving into South Carolina, Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas have a moderate rip current risk north of the main strip today. Surf heights will range from 1 to 4 feet depending on location, with partly sunny skies and those consistent southwest winds.

Sunday looks a bit calmer across all regions - surf will mellow out to around 1 foot with west winds and continued partly sunny conditions. Temperatures will hold steady in the mid 80s.

Pro tip: While rip current risks are generally low, always exercise caution near piers, jetties, and reefs. Stay safe, stay stoked, and enjoy that beautiful Carolina coastline!
