    In today's episode, we welcome the remarkable Amy Shroff, a dedicated veterinarian and founder of the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center of NE, now known as Blue Pearl Veterinary Specialists. Amy, a resident of Wayland, Massachusetts since 1999, shares her inspiring journey in veterinary medicine and her work with her non-profit organization, Lets Save the Strays International. We discuss her mission to assist forgotten animals worldwide, the volunteer-based and self-funded approach of her 501(c)(3) organization, and the significant impact of her efforts in countries like Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal, India, and Ukraine. Amy also highlights the importance of bridging the gap between those who need help and those who can provide it, and her ongoing projects to improve animal welfare globally.
