Another big time wake up call here for me - and I hope it gets you thinking too. This goes a little bit deeper than simply saying that our real competition isn't other people - that it's ourselves. I ran into a very powerful post from the Positivity Project. This reminds us about when we give up on things, it gets easier and easier to keep giving up. Which I did many times in my life and still struggle with today. But this also reminds us that we can change our habits and choose to gain some grit & take on problems and issues that we need to deal with. It is possible to grow some grit in our lives.
