Woke up today - and my first thought was all dealing with gratitude. I have been telling myself a lot lately that this is what I want my first thought to be (after making sure my alarm is off) & usually it's a bit later that I start thinking about this term. Well today was different... and after I got showered up I knew the shirt I was going to wear today, "Choose Kindness" is on the front of it. What a great ride into school today - the sunrise was awesome... my partners in driving, first was a few minutes with Ed Mylett and then John O'Leary came up from the back seat to the front seat and started sharing a story with Caroline Gaynor - and what a story it's starting out to be! Ben Newman and his "Burn Podcast" - Find this episode with his guest Nick Santonastasso HERE.Some powerful lessons about having this "never ending mindset". Just the mindset of never stopping to learn and improve. Never stopping to be a lifelong learner so that we can be our best and that means we will have more wins in our life along with being able to help others more. I know I need to do this more for sure.

Found a fantastic reminder today from Gratitude HQ (@gratefuledu64) where they remind us to “be that one” for others. A great list here to remind us that one person can indeed make a difference for others and more importantly four ourselves. Love the connection that “one idea can shape the future.” The other one off the list, “one candle can wipe out darkness.” All of these items are so valuable to tap into and reflect on, so take these with you wherever you are going.
