The people of the principality of Liechtenstein have long wished for independence, but the Empire has always had its own plans for the country. The neighboring states, meanwhile, have kept a constant eye on the principality, as if it were their own property. What's more, the internal conflicts between the country's aristocrats have shown no sign of abating. Was it really a good idea to stir up this hornets' nest? Well . . . they only have themselves to blame!

The hardest part is behind me, it seems. I'm no longer a kindergartner. I've got money, allies, and, most importantly, a reputation. Yet, the further you rise, the more challenges the Universe throws your way, and the more powerful your foes become as they emerge over the horizon. That just makes life more interesting, however. I've got a plan. And I'm going to follow it to the letter....

Varg has already completed no few tests in order to consider himself an experienced survivor in this world of zombies. But will that actually be enough? After all, fate is no slacker, the system neither, and it is quite probable that these two capricious ladies have joined forces.

I used to be the greatest Earth Mage in my world. The head of the entire Order of Architects. But the older you get, the more you come to realize that at some point, you need to retire, so that you can have the chance to enjoy a peaceful life and to cede your place to the young, some of whom have already turned two thousand years old . . .So that's what I did. But I failed to account for one thing: during the course of my long life, I'd accumulated too many enemies, and they had decided to spoil my retirement. So they died along with me. And I hope their deaths were final. But mine was not!

An heir without an inheritance. A weak Mage with huge potential and a wealth of experience. A young man living a second life. That's me, Theodore the Babylonian. I am getting to grips with life in Liechtenstein, little by little. But the time has come to get back what is rightfully mine. Most importantly, however, I must show everyone that what's mine is sacred. And anyone who has their eye on it . . . Let's just say, I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

Evidently, for whatever reason there were still many who fail to comprehend who Mikhail Bulatov really is. These are the ones who see him as just a Healer. Their attempts to kill him in a duel, or to simply poison him only amuse him. But his first government contract to treat an aristocrat is encouraging. Mikhail enjoys working as a Healer—it is, after all, his calling. And how refreshing to use his Gift not to kill, but to heal, as well.

I was the most powerful healer in my world—the best, having devoted my entire life to mastering the art of healing. And yet, for whatever reason, my brother feared that I sought to claim his throne, and he marshaled his forces against me.

It seems Irkutsk Oblast is getting a little too crowded for our hero. Yes, he has found his home here, for now deprived of caring feminine hands. Yes, nearby is the Epicenter, a perfect training ground. But the trouble is, the young baron has begun to draw attention from the powers that be, who plan to use Galaxius and his capabilities for their own—not always humane—ends . . .As our refined aristocrat of a hero would say: "Screw it, good luck to 'em!"

It seems that my former power is gradually returning to me in my new body. I still have all my past experience, however, and everything is proceeding just as it should. How quickly can I earn money and build my reputation? No, I'm not going to resort to killing and looting. I'm an Architect, after all! I'm going to craft and build things! That's how Architects work! The time has come to rebuild my empire. So . . . I might end up having to do some killing and looting, after all. I'm not short of enemies . . .

The threats I've been facing in this world, well, it's like playing whack-a-mole. The local aristocrats are still conspiring to put roadblocks in the path of the ever more powerful Bulatov Family. And then I have the offworlders from another world—they haven't gone anywhere, either. They're still opening portals and sending through invaders, although, thus far, these attacks have been isolated grabs for loot and prisoners. A portal opens, offworlders dash out, get what they can, and retreat.

Varg is getting to know this world, and he likes it more and more, despite the dangers lurking around every corner. But what if the gnomes make an incursion and take everything and anything away to their world, including humans, whom they consider fair game? This book will include new tasks and new worlds into which the System will throw him. For example, a world inhabited by abominable snakes, or an elven world in which Varg will receive a valuable prize. Also appearing in our world will be necromancers.

What could be simpler? On my very first day in this world, I was given the title of a count along with all the trimmings: a castle, name, lands and power. You'd think I had it made, but no . . . They seized my castle, took my lands, and now, I'm surrounded by enemies. Moreover, it's nothing but one headache after another with the authorities. And even though I wrested my castle back, the neighbors aren't going anywhere, and they live and breathe to tear off chunks of my land, and eliminate me, the new head of the family.

Mikhail came here from a world where not just force, but also a man's word, meant something. But here in his new home, it was different. Not only were there few here who possessed strong Gifts, or were truly powerful mages, there were still fewer who knew how to keep their word. How, then, was he to restore the status of the Bulatov Family? Of course, as the head of the Family, Mikhail would never give up, and he always managed to find a way to outsmart his adversaries.

"Honor the Code and you'll rest in your next life!" they said . . . "It'll be fun!" they said . . . Now why didn't they tell me I'd have to get married and be responsible for a whole Noble Family of my own, with a bunch of obligations and all the crap I have to deal with now!? Could I get reborn back into a Hunter again, please!?

Mikhail's adventures continue. He's finding out ever more about this world, and the Empire in which he lives. But he's in for some surprises, still. They've tasked him with training the most hopeless students from the Department of Healing Arts. Perhaps this was meant to be a way of punishing Mikhail, but in the end, it's tough luck for the students. After all, look at who they got for a teacher! One thing's for sure, no way will these students end up as mediocre Healers!

Family manor-check! First Family Sword-present! Pets-a whole menagerie! Enemies-more and more! Friends-some, thank the Code! Money-oops . . . I need more gold! And a Family Guard! And a housekeeper! And a gardener, and . . . Hey, wasn't this world supposed to be my vacation?

Gangsters, aristocrats, offworlders . . . What difference does it make? To Mikhail Bulatov, none whatsoever. Any of them could be friend or foe, and he could care less what world they're from or what their place is in the social order. As for his enemies, any conversation will be equally brief, even if different in content. And yes, those out to get him are ramping up their efforts, and increasing in number. Not that there's any question of his ability to handle it all. That being said, he must not lose sight of who he is. First and foremost, he is a Healer.

Epicenters have activated all over the planet, and the Rifts are behaving unpredictably. It might seem time for humanity to unite before this shared threat, but there are too many people who care about nothing but their own interests!

Varg has been granted his chance at a new life, but will he be up to it? Can he cope with the pressure of that chance? New enemies, friends, and problems will be along soon. It remains only for Varg to figure out who he fears most: his enemies, or his friends.

I was a Hunter, and I honored the Code. For my services to humanity and for leading a "proper" life, I was to be rewarded. A new life after death, and a new world to give me some well-deserved rest. But something went wrong. Once again, I must fight. The Monsters that face me here are far more terrifying than those of my past life. They are cleverer, crueler, more unpredictable.
