The spaceship breaks their fall but there is another spaceship following which is trying to destroy the spaceship they are on. After the happenings at Gordon Hall the team decide to go to Devon to rest but they soon find themselves in a nether world, inhabited by some interesting things, some from their minds. They soon work out that they have to overcome the apprentice, free the wizard and take the two books and the two Victorians out of this world. The one problem was the homicidal white shoed leprechaun who was willing to turn anyone into stone in his fight against the apprentice.
