Almost nothing could be as bad as finding out your mother is Visser One, the most powerful leader of the Yeerk invasion of Earth. But it happened to Marco. Jake and Tom's maternal great-grandfather dies suddenly. Their mom immediately travels out of state to help make arrangements for the funeral. Jake, Tom, and their father are to follow in two days when their dad can take off from work, and stay for a few days. This, of course, creates a problem for Tom ( who, as we know, is a Controller and needs to get to a Kandrona every three days.)

Ruby’s story picks up a few months after the events of The One and Only Bob. Now living in a wildlife sanctuary, Ruby’s caretaker from the elephant orphanage in Africa where she grew up is visiting. Seeing him again brings back a flood of memories both happy and sad of her life before the circus, and she recounts the time she spent in the African savannah to Ivan and Bob.

The Yeerks have decided to step-up recruitment in The Sharing---but it's not going to be celebrity endorsements this time. It's a cable TV show, one with a lot of interactivity: call-in and Web site. The Animorphs and Ax are at a loss as to how to bring this threat down. The Yeerks have come up with a brilliant defense. The studio is in a large building with its own day care center. The day care center is right next to the studio, and, to emphasize the family nature of the show, there's even a glass wall separating the studio from day care center.

David, the newest Animorph, is not what he appears. His need to control the other Animorphs is all he thinks about. And the things he does are starting to break up the group. Rachel and the others know that time is running out. The newest battle against the Yeerks is the most important one yet. And it's not one that will wait. The bad news is that Erek's not even human.

The last time Rachel and her friends entered the giant Yeerk pool beneath their town things went very bad. This time they plan to be careful, and sneak in as roaches, just to spy. Once they're inside, though, the team gets caught. But right as things are looking their most dire, everything stops. Everything. Then Rachel and the Animorphs hear a voice. It belongs to a very old, very powerful being, and it says it can save them. But if it does, the Earth will be defenseless.

he Animorphs' latest adventure takes them where no man has ever gone before... into Marco's left nostril. Who else could be responsible for this mess but a crew of miniature egomaniacs? The Helmacrons have returned to demand the morphing cube because they need more power to escape Earth's atmosphere. In the middle of their threats, Rachel tries to destroy their ship, and some of the little warriors bail... right into Marco's body.

Tobias's worst nightmare has come back to haunt him-Taylor. Taylor is the evil Yeerk that captured and tortured Tobias, trying to get him to reveal the secrets of the Animorphs. Now she's captured him again-but this time, she wants his help. Taylor says she's part of a Yeerk rebel movement to overthrow Visser Three. They plan to dig a tunnel and blow up the Yeerk pool, killing a bunch of Controllers and Visser Three. But they can't do it without the "Andalite Bandits."The Animorphs have their doubts.

Marco never wanted to be an Animorph. He didn't want the ability to change into any animal he touches. And he certainly didn't want to be one of a handful of kids that are the planet's only defense against a secret alien army. His friends know why he feels the way he does. Now he must decide whether to reveal the reason for his estrangement - the shameful secret of his people.

Jake's made a pretty amazing discovery. It seems like there may be other people who know about the alien invasion of Earth. Others who know about the Yeerks. Jake finds a website devoted to revealing the existence of the Yeerks, but he and the other Animorphs suspect it might be too good to be true. If they try to investigate the site and it's a trap, the Yeerks could find out who they are. If they don't check it out, they'll never know if they're the only ones fighting.
