Soiled doves are being systematically killed in Denver, Boulder, and other towns in Colorado. Governor Evans understands the mindset of the insane and knows the killer must be stopped. He calls on Denver Marshal Seth Stewart, appoints him as a Special Investigator and U.S. Marshal, and tasks him with the responsibility of finding the killer and bringing him to justice. Everything points to one of two men; both seemingly are around the town on the day that a killing occurs. It seems that the more Marshal Stewart discovers, the less he knows.

Will Cannon rides the trail alone to California in search of the Blackman Gang. Will thinks a district judge named "Hanging Henry" Hart has joined an outlaw gang. Will gets some help from some California state marshals and from a beautiful women as he tries to bring down the Wall Gang.

Will Cannon rides alone to the Tall Timber Country in Oregon looking for the Blackman Gang. He finds a town full of scared people that has been overrun by a gang of outlaws and another outlaw boss running the lumber camps. This country is much too beautiful to hide such evil deeds, so Will sets out to make things right.

When Hannibal Brinks left his boyhood home in Missouri, he was just 16-years-old. He joined a small wagon train headed West. On the way, he met two brothers who were mountain men, and traveled to the Rockies with them. After he leaves, the wagon train encounters Arapaho horse thieves, and is then attacked by a large number of hostiles.

The outlaw boss says he will take all of the land given to the Mexican people in land grants by the King of Spain. Other outlaws have made such a claim in the past and all of those outlaws failed to claim one acre of land but the outlaws did find some people willing to join their cause.

Will Cannon rescues Mountain Mike, the last living mountain man, from a gang of outlaws from Taos, New Mexico. The gang of ruthless outlaws are trying to steal Mike's silver claim. Will gets some cowboys and some vigilante miners and devises a plan to rid Taos of the outlaws.

The Frontiersman – Massacre at Buffalo Creek, continues Hannibal Brinks and Stumpy Smith saga. As they were delivering cows to the mining camp, Tall Bear and his Arapaho braves attacked them in Drago Canyon. They survive the ambush only to be attack. On their way back to the ranch, five drygulchers try to steal the money from the cattle sale. They survive the attack and meet two men who will become cow hands on their ranch. A young Lieutenant stops at the Circle BS and spends the night with his detail.

The story of Hannibal Brinks and Stumpy Smith continues. Stumpy and Mabel get married and move into his cabin. Hannibal and Stumpy decide to take another trip to the Neutral Strip in search of feral cattle. Thelma decides that she wants to be a working cowhand and puts her mettle on display by saddle breaking a horse that Hannibal couldn’t handle

Will and Joe Cannon have been selling a lot of supplies and horses in the small mining town of Chama, New Mexico, but now an outlaw gang is trying to take over Chama. Will Cannon and Pete Abrams go to Chama to sell supplies and to confront the gang of cutthroats. Will hopes the man causing the trouble in Chama is named Blackman. Blackman and his gang of murderous outlaws killed Will's family in Virginia several years ago. Will swore he would find and kill Blackman and every member of his gang. The white hot fire of revenge burns deep in Will's soul.

Will Cannon had gone to Durango a few years ago and taken care of the Silver Dollar Killer and the Edwards Gang, but now a new group of murderous outlaws are taking over Durango. Some dirty polecats Arizona Moonshiners are making poisoned moonshine and selling it to Apache Indians, miners and cowboys near Globe, Arizona. Will gets help for two local cowboys and he uses the authority given him by the Arizona Rangers to hunt down the outlaws. He discovers that the moonshiners are also robbing the payroll shipment from the train and that the Indian Agent on the San Carlos Indian Reservation may be the boss of the outlaws.

After working on the Oliver Rogers ranch, Bas and Fletch Stevens decide to go out on their own. They are faced with the daunting challenge of building a ranching operation on the Arkansas River in Colorado. Among their challenges are the Indians who consider the area their home, the hostile weather, cattle rustlers, homesteaders who encroach on the public land, and the ever-changing price of beef.

The Zack Branson: Texas Ranger saga continues when his cousin, Sarah Jane Branson, becomes a deputy sheriff in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. She gets thrown into the fire early on and is forced to shoot a Methodist minister. Ma Wheeler learns of an assassin and contacts him with an offer to go to Colorado and get the revenge she craves for the Davises’ killing her sons and nephews. Samuel T. Brummett has the same skills with rifle and pistols as the Davises. His arrival in Bent County sets up a test of wills, and the outcome of the possible conflict is in question.
