Welcome to the world of Adam Cain, AKA: The Human, the closest thing to a superman in the galaxy. As the most famous employee of Starfire Security, The Human is in popular demand. But he has to be careful that his past doesn't catch up to him. You can't go around kicking alien butt without ruffling a few feathers . . . or scales . . . or whatever the alien du jour happens to have for skin. And when Adam later teams up with another famous bounty hunter, things really begin to go south.

Adam Cain is a super Human, everyone's hero, the go-to guy when the galaxy needs saving. So why is he broke and looking to hire out his special talents just to keep his head above water? As all the great forces in the galaxy gather for one final, epic battle to determine who will rule the Milky Way, massive star fleets from the Juireans and the Humans converge on ground zero - the Kracori homeworld of Elision. Against such overwhelming firepower, it's a given that Elision will be destroyed - unless the Kracori and their reluctant allies, the Klin, can mount a surprise end-around defense of the planet. As the evil Klin continue their rampage across the galaxy, Adam enlists the help of mutants Panur and Lila to find a solution to the Klin problem. But time is running out. The deadly power of the Klin is growing exponentially with each passing day. And add to that the sniveling politicians from the Expansion and the Union who fear Adam's daughter Lila more than they do the Klin. Now Adam is up against enemies on both sides of the conflict, leaving it up to him and his team to save the galaxy—again. But this time he has some major brain-power on his side.

With the ancient Aris service module Kanan out of the picture - at least for a while - there's a lot for Marshal Adam Cain to tend to within the Dead Zone. If Adam thought things were wild and woolly before, wait until he sees what happens in the aftermath of Kanan. Politics, terrorists, assassins, thieves, and more...I could go on and on, but you get the picture. And now, as Adam slowly builds a secret force of super agents within the ranks of Enforcers, they begin to take on assignments usually reserved for, well, supermen. Fortunately, the shoe fits.

Having returned from the Andromeda Galaxy as heroes, the team soon learns that the remaining Nuoreans in the Milky Way aren't too thrilled with the fact that the Humans destroyed their homeworld of Nuor. Now they're going to make Adam and his friends pay for it. After placing an exorbitant bounty on the heads of each team member, nearly every creature in the galaxy becomes a hired killer. Although Adam's never been one to run from a fight, this may be too much for even him.

A major new threat to the galaxy.... A political firestorm underway.... Aliens and Humans aligned against each other.... Fortunately, we have Adam Cain to save the day!

In the continuation of their last adventure, Adam and his team have returned from The Lost Universe with the evil and insane Aris being Kracion close on their tail. Now the mission becomes two-fold: Warn the galaxy of this new threat, while also on a quest to find the artificial planet of the Aris in time to save Lila and Panur from being assimilated by Kracion, making him the immortal god he's spent three billion years to become. If he's successful, no power in the galaxy can stop him . . . except maybe an ex-Navy SEAL from Southern California named Adam Cain . . .

They once thought dark energy was the ultimate power in the universe. They were mistaken. The deep-cover spy has his own reason for finding the fugitive, and it's not to earn the million-credit bounty offered for his capture. The elusive alien absconded with billions of credits from his homeworld just before the Mad Aris Kracion irradiated the planet. And now it seems as though the entire galaxy is looking for him.

As an eclectic band of heroes set out to rescue Adam's kidnapped daughter, Lila, everyone is asking what do they do when they find her? She was abducted by the three-billion-year-old Aris, beings who possess technology and genius far beyond anything in the Milky Way today. How does one fight against such technology, against such genius? In the meantime, the galaxy is being overrun by the invaders from Andromeda whose brutal gladiator-like contests are just getting underway...and with the Humans their prime targets.

However, along the way, he also developed the opposite, a drug that leaves the body susceptible to ALL diseases . . . the perfect biological weapon.

The ancient Aris helped created nearly all advanced life in the galaxy. But they weren't alone. Now the long lost Children of the Aris have resurfaced, freed from their Quantum prison. And now, they're on a mission to reconstitute their race, supplanting all other life in the Milky Way. And to that end they need the mysterious Formation device. To get it, they've kidnapped the super mutants, Panur and Lila. Little do they know, Panur is no longer immortal and he will surely die if Adam Cain and his friends can't find him and Adam's daughter, Lila, in time.

The alien with an attitude is back! But for how long? After the tragic events at the end of Secondary Protocol, the truth is finally revealed to Adam and his friends. Now, he's living on borrowed time as his resurrected body is rapidly deteriorating. To save Adam, the mutants—Panur and Lila—must take him to the Sol-Kor universe. But in doing so, they awaken the wrath of Queen J'nae, who will use all her resources to destroy Panur—along with any hope of Adam surviving. And to add insult to injury, the New Klin from Kracion's universe have invaded the Milky Way.

With the clock ticking to total destruction of the universe, Adam Cain and Company race to find the imprisoned Last Aris, an insane creature they've run into before: Kracion! He's the key to saving . . . everything. But will he help? Will he care if the universe dies? And in the meantime, the evil Te'moc is still on the warpath, seeking to assimilate both Summer Rains and the super-mutant Panur—who's a little preoccupied at the time. And to top it all off, the Sol-Kor have reached the point of no return in their search for their missing Queen-J'nae.

After his last two jobs left him broke and in debt, The Human for Hire is looking for a way to make some quick cash. And that's when three Human friends from his past show up, offering him a piece of the action in an upcoming bank robbery. At first, he says no. But then the details come out.
