Ancient Poetry

This album is the second in the series Ancient Poems, which recites and interprets ancient words. Ancient words are a form of expression of ancient songs in words. They are the general term for classical lyrics and their changes. Literary works created according to the specific organization method based on the rhythm of ancient lyrics are also called ancient words.

Un guitariste est là pour qu'il se sente moins seul dans le studio. Le jeu a dû leur plaire car ils recommencèrent plusieurs fois. Dits par l'auteur, ces poèmes ont la nudité de l'enfance, le goût du fruit défendu, les parfums des fleurs sauvages, la vivacité des mauvaises herbes chères à Brassens, et la couleur sanguine des pommes d'amour à la fête foraine. Anne Kingsmill was born in April 1661 (an exact date is not known) in Sydmonton, Hampshire. Throughout her life, Anne was involved in several Court cases that dragged on for years. These involved both a share of her parent’s estate for her education and later her and her husband’s share of an inheritance. In 1682, Anne became a maid of honour to Mary of Modena (wife of James, Duke of York, and later King James II) at St James’ Palace. Anne's interest in poetry began at the palace, and she started writing her own verse.

Herman Melville was born in New York City on August 1st 1819, the third of eight children. At the age of seven, Melville contracted scarlet fever which was to permanently diminish his eyesight. At this time Melville was described as being 'very backwards in speech and somewhat slow in comprehension.' His father died when he was 12, leaving the family in very straitened times. Just 14, Melville took a job in a bank paying $150 a year that he obtained via his uncle Peter Gansevoort, who was one of the directors of the New York State Bank.
