The Quran, a book which brings glad tidings to mankind along with divine admonition, stresses the importance of man's discovery of truth on both spiritual and intellectual planes. Every book has its objective, and the objective of the Quran is to make man aware of the Creation plan of God. That is, to tell man why God created this world; what the purpose is of settling man on Earth; what is required from man in his pre-death life span, and what he is going to confront after death.

The Holy Quran is comprised of 114 suwar (plural of surah, or chapter), each divided into verses. The shortest surah (Al-Kawthar) has only three verses while the longest (Al-Baqarah) contains 286 verses.

The Noble Quran, literally meaning "the recitation", also romanized Qur'an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from Allah SWT (God). It is widely regarded as the finest work in classical Arabic literature. The Quran is divided into chapters (surah in Arabic), which are then divided into verses (ayah). The Noble Quran assumes familiarity with major narratives recounted in the biblical scriptures. It summarizes some, dwells at length on others, and, in some cases, presents alternative accounts and interpretations of events.

كتاب رياض الصالحين للإمام النووي الدمشقي يجمع الأحاديث الصحيحة المروية عن الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم في شؤون العقيدة والحياة، مرتبة في أبواب وفصول لسهولة الرجوع إليها. يضم الكتاب 1903 أحاديث مروية بسند مختصر يبدأ بالصحابي غالباً، مقسمة على 372 فصلاً. ينقل أقوال الرسول وأفعاله كما يرويها الصحابة، وأحياناً ينقل أقوال الصحابة وأفعالهم. يتوزع الكتاب على خمسة عشر كتاباً تضم 373 باباً مرقمة بالتسلسل.

حاول طه حسين بأسلوب أدبي أن يكتب عن إحدى أخطر قضايا التاريخ الإسلامي وأكثرها حساسية، عن الفتنة الكبرى التي حصلت أيام عثمان رضي الله عنه، وامتدت آثارها إلى أيام علي رضي الله عنه، ومازال المسلمون يحصدون آثارها إلى الآن. ينظر طه حسين إلى هذه القضية، نظرة محايدة، فلا تصدر عن عاطفة أو هوى، ولا نظرةً تتأثر بالإيمان ولا الدين، بل هي نظرة مؤرخ يتجرد من العواطف والأهواء. ويحكي طه حسين عن هذه الفتنة في جزئين: الأول بعنوان:"الفتنة الكبرى: عثمان" والثاني: "الفتنة الكبرى: علي وبنوه".

تدور أحداث هذا الكتاب الشيّق حول مئة شخصية جمع بينها الدّين الإسلامي وتركُ أثرٍ في العالم، قد تكون هذه الشخصية رجلًا كابن الصديق أو عمر، وقد تكون امرأة كفاطمة وعائشة وربما جماعة كالعبادلة الأربعة أو الفرسان الثلاثة ..

في هذه السلسلة، يتعرض الكاتب لمجمل الفترة التي عاشها أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ودعوة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم أولًا لهم ثم انطلاقهم بعد ذلك للدعوة وحبهم لهذا العمل، وهجرتهم، وجهادهم، وصبرهم، وإنفاقهم، وإيثارهم وغير ذلك من صفاتهم الحميدة من خلال روايات مسندة أوردها المصنف في كتابه.

تُعدّ سلسلة العبقريّات من أشهر مؤلّفات العقّاد، وفي هذا الكتاب يُقدّم العقّاد سيرةَ الإمام عليّ، مُشيرًا إلى الجوانب الإنسانيّة في شخصيّته، كما يُسلّط الضّوء على بعض أفكاره الفريدة في التصوّف والشّريعة والأخلاق، وتحدّث العقّاد كذلك عن أخلاق الإمام عليّ، فذكر نقاء سريرته وعلوّ همّته، وغزارة علمه، وزهده وحكمته، وشجاعته، فضمّن هذا الكتاب سيرةً عظيمةً جاعلًا محورها جوانب النّفس الإنسانيّة.

وقد خصص المجلد الثاني من الكتاب -يتألف من ثلاثة أبواب- للحديث عن جهاد الصحابة في سبيل الله، وحرصهم على اجتماع كلمة المسلمين، وإنفاقهم في سبيل الله».

Juz Amma es la 30 y última parte del Corán, es quizás la parte más leída y memorizada del Corán en todo el mundo musulmán.
