Instead of looking at what we think autism is, we are going to jump into a whole new arena! Change the way you view and handle autism forever! We will examine the many common misconceptions of autism. I'll be discussing some of the techniques that I've used on my four-year-old autistic son, Justin. He was three years old, about a month before his fourth birthday. I had searched everything I knew how to search, and I found lots of information on defining autism as well as the symptoms of autism.

My faith in Christ inspires me and my belief in not putting limits on our children as they grow and develop. I wanted to share how hard the education system can be to navigate and share my story to show parents how to provide the best educational and emotional support possible in their unique situations. I struggled to find the support I needed in the early '90s now it seems to be much better but it always needs to be addressed with each family. In receive much joy in knowing I have trusted Jesus and done the absolute best I could as a parent.

Through this book, I hope, you will understand that there are a lot of things you as a parent can do to help your autistic child live a meaningful life. You just need to fully accept your child for who he or she is and take delight in the beautiful things that your child brings into your life.
