Conservation For Kids

In this instalment, Leah the biology expert and Gustavo the history buff are whisked away on a mission to a forest in North Carolina, USA. There, they meet a botanist working to protect the amazing Venus flytrap - an endangered species of plant - from being stolen by poachers and sold for money. It'll take every bit of brainpower, bravery and expertise that Leah and Gustavo have to stop the poachers and rescue the plants.

In Tracking Weather, the Brite Star Kids learn about the Brite Star Weather Station and how the people who work there do their jobs and keep the community informed about the changes in the weather. They meet the individual who does the weather forecast and are able to see the instruments used.

Kids will learn about the 3’Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle in this upbeat audiobook about protecting our Earth. Reduce means to use less. Like turning off lights when you leave the room. Reuse means to use things over again. Like filling up a washable water bottle and using it over again. Recycle means for a used item to be remade. When you recycle plastic bottles, they can be melted down and made into new bottles or into something else. Fun music and engaging lyrics will have young scientists saying “Every Day is Earth Day!”
