Chevalier Auguste Dupin, normalmente conocido como C. Auguste Dupin, es un detective de ficción creado por Edgar Allan Poe. Dupin hizo su primera aparición en ”Los crímenes de la calle Morgue” (1841) de Poe, considerado el primer relato policial. Vuelve a aparecer en “El misterio de Marie Rogêt” (1842) y en “La carta robada” (1844).
