Perhaps the most important book in the Old Testament regarding Man's honor of God. Bringing into perspective the symbiotic relationship between everything that exists, the Book of Psalms offers a window into the minds of its authors regarding their sense of loneliness at times, and also their absolute dependence on and protection of God. The Book of Psalms is considered to be the hymnbook of the Old Testament Jews. The Book has several authors, most notably David, King of Israel, who is credited with writing 73 of the Psalms.
