Dr. Ann McLannly blames herself for her niece’s tragic death. And after her mother dies, this young doctor volunteers with an international aid organization for a mission in Rwanda. Pressed into a grueling work schedule with limited facilities, she has little time to adjust. Still, she forges relationships with the remarkable people she meets and finds herself drawn into a relationship with a priest, who introduces her to a Catholic orphanage that needs a physician to care for the growing number of orphans.

Conundrums are the hurdles in our race to complete the great commission. They can make you run slower or trip you, so the race is never finished. Thus, the ideal solution is to remove the hurdles altogether. A conundrum is a “confusing and difficult problem or question”, which is often a roadblock to progress until and unless it is confronted and resolved. In this audiobook, I hope to address four primary categories, which in my opinion, have done damage to our efforts of fulfilling the Lord’s direct mandate.

While "missions" used to be the territory of experts and missionary professionals, globalization has made the issues and needs of our world accessible to average Americans. Many American Christians feel overwhelmed by the scope of the brokenness in the world and conclude all they can do is go on with their lives. Others respond by giving and praying, and still others want to do more. What Can I Do shows that global mission is something we all can be part of in tangible ways.
