Sie wartet bis die Kinder eingeschlafen sind und geht dann los. Nachdem sie die Tiere aus den Fallen geholt hat, bildet sich eine dicke Nebelwand über dem Schnee. Sie rutscht und fällt. Auch die Skier entgleiten ihr. So bleibt sie in der Nacht dort liegen.
