Krize moderního člověka je pro Masaryka krizí celého duchovního života. Tato krize se projevuje politicky, mravně, filozoficky i společensky – avšak jejím ohniskem byla podle Masaryka krize náboženská, kdy se moderní člověk odvrátil od vnějšího světa a začal se spoléhat jen na vlastní síly. V tomto spisu se Masaryk dotýká i sklonu k sebevraždám v moderní době a zamýšlí se nad jejich příčinami.

The Antichrist is a book by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, originally published in 1895. Although it was written in 1888, its controversial content caused its publication to be delayed. The German title can be translated into English as either The Anti-Christ or The Anti-Christian, depending on how the German word Christ is translated. Three Dialogues Between Hylas and Philonous, or simply Three Dialogues, is a 1713 book on metaphysics and idealism by George Berkeley. The book was written as a response to the criticism of his work A Treatise Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge.
