Sylt, Ende Februar: Es ist die Zeit des traditionellen Biikebrennens, als Liv Lammers zu einem neuen Fall auf die Insel gerufen wird. Auf dem Morsum-Kliff wurde eine Leiche entdeckt. Der Tatort sieht aus, als habe ein blutiges Ritual stattgefunden. Das Opfer war ein Hobby-Archäologe, der angeblich einem Wikingerschatz auf der Spur war. Hat er seine Ausgrabungen zu weit getrieben?
