Mit seinem Freund Friedrich Pollock zog er 1919 zunächst nach München, dann nach Frankfurt am Main.

Diogenes Laërtius was a biographer of the Greek philosophers. His work Lives and Opinions of Eminent Philosophers is a principal source for the history of ancient Greek philosophy. In Book X, Diogenes Laertius discusses Epicurus.
