In 1897, Mark and Jane continue their trek through history by traveling to Fort Worth, Texas to investigate sightings of a strange flying craft. During the course of their investigation, one of the strange airships crashes in Aurora, Texas. Their investigation of the wreckage takes them to Iceland, where they are left to die in a glacial crevasse, but instead of a frozen death, they discover a paradise of wonder and an ancient civilization that predates humanity.
