Study Bible Commentary

Sir Robert Anderson (1841-1918) was an Assistant Commissioner of the London Metropolitan Police. This book is his response to F.W. Farrar who had dismissed the historical claims of the book of Daniel according to the method of "higher criticism". Anderson argues that the book of Daniel was indeed written by Daniel, a Jewish official in the Babylonian and Persian court.

Here is Thomas Jefferson's classic abridgment of the Bible, in which Jefferson sculpted the words and ideas of Christ into a resounding moral philosophy. On and off for 17 years (including his term in the White House), Jefferson cut and pasted the philosophy of Jesus Christ, as recorded in Scripture, into one compact statement.
