WHY ALL THE FUSS OVER JERUSALEM? The phrase “white fragility” has grown into a term that many people have accepted and referenced when talking about the defensiveness and discomfort a white person feels when talking about race. The book aims to create a dialogue about race despite the white fragility that Americans feel when confronted with that topic. The book, published in 2018, has gained strong reviews because it explores race in-depth and attempts to break down those walls that white people have built in order to protect themselves from acknowledging their race and the benefits it gives them in life.

Steps to Christ was written in the late 1800s. As such, the book can be difficult to understand and study deeply. That's why I have taken it upon myself to rewrite it in a modern way. I have kept the spirit and lessons of the book fully intact while breathing new life into a timeless classic. I had previously tried to study this book at a small church in the Pacific Northwest and found the old language to be somewhat perplexing. It was then that I knew I had to help others who were like me. As a former English teacher that taught from this book, I knew that a new translation would help ...
