Captivating and Suspenseful

A small collection of short stories guaranteed to unsettle even the bravest of listeners.

The author, Joseph Hallett, crafts a chilling collection of short stories designed to terrify and leave a lasting impression on listeners. The Cellar Door explores every parent's worst nightmare, weaving themes of curiosity, relationships, and fear. The Bone Dice delves into greed, jealousy, and desire, blending supernatural elements with these all-too-familiar emotions for a deeply unsettling effect. Each story features well-developed characters that make the tales resonate long after they end.

The narrator, Kevin Perkins, builds on the suspense perfectly with his highly skilled and versatile voice enhancing the mood of each story. He speaks clearly and with deliberate pauses to unsettling effect making the resonating more poignant.

I was captivated by each short story, as the author and narrator complemented each other's talent flawlessly, and the tales were shiver-inducing for sure!

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook.
