This book was such a great read. I mean I love the action and the suspense in all. I can’t wait to read the next installment. Plus that laylee is a boss and she met her match with August. I am wondering will Monique and Kal have something going on? I can’t wait to see what unfolds love this book.

The story was okay. I probably would have enjoyed it better if it wasn't for the virtual voice. The virtual voice does not or cannot differentiate between a female or male character and change its voice like a human reader can. The virtual voice does not or cannot change the tone of its voice or match the emotion of the character like a human reader can. Virtual Voice in Audible is not for me. I did not enjoy it. I will state clear of books that use virtual voice. No thank you

The book is a little ridiculous but the virtual voice narrating makes it so hard to keep up. It’s distracting

The AI voice is really good. I didn't like it because of the psychological torment. There's a whole warning section in the beginning that was drawn out and really long therefore I tuned it out. I am sure psychological torment was in the warning section but I completely missed it. One of the main characters it's purposely making the other main character feel insane, to the point that they consider admitting themselves into a hospital. I honestly will never know what the outcome of this is because this is too much for me. Please heed the warning in the beginning if you have trauma triggers.
