The Decision

The story held my attention & had enough side details to make it fun to listen to.

Outstanding (ignore the French and Spanish accents

Except for improper French and Spanish accents, especially by Madame who was raised in France, this is an outstanding story and an outstanding story teller!

Good story but preachy

First of all, Rebecca Giles is a fantastic narrator! Her many voices bring the characters to life.

Cleo Coyle is a talented mystery writer. I’ve listened to every book in this series so far. But she overdoes the background details and preaching to the point I’ve been fast-forwarding through her lengthy descriptions of art history, cooking, and other topics that expand but don’t contribute to the story.

This book also carried even more preaching than usual. I truly enjoy the stories and characters but would relish less diatribes.

I've read eleven of Cleo Coyles Coffeehouse Mysteries, and have never been disappointed!

Cleo Coyle is one of my favorite writers! Her cast of characters in this series are fantastic. Rebecca Gribel is the absolute best narrator I've ever heard! The way she gives each character a unique voice to match their personality makes the it all come alive. And while I'm at it, kudos to the Coffeehouse Mysteries website!
